2012 goals

Though I have compiled by goals under my 2012 page, I thought it would be nice to consolidate them in one list for the year, and link up with The Blog Guidebook. Check out the collection!

1. Make it to the dentist.

2. See the optometrist. (Pun intended. Har- har.)

3. Read 40 books. [2.5/40]

4. Consolidate my student loans and start paying them off.

5. Earn a certificate in grant writing.

6. Earn a certificate in non-profit management.

7. Take a least one Spanish class. [Signed up and working on it!]

8. Exercise at least thrice weekly. (Also, use the word “thrice” more.) [2/52]

9. Run at least 5 races (including two half marathons).

10. Get checked for skin cancer.

11. Make it to Wisconsin for Slapsgiving.

12. Volunteer monthly.

13. Schedule a monthly date night with EJV.

14. Blog at least four times a week. [1/52]

15. Get a dog! (Apartment permitting.)

16. Land a long-term job.

A goal everyone should commit to…

Ooo the dentist and skin cancer one are totally on my list too!! Plus, I need to get my “women’s annual” so I have that clamp-tastic experience to look forward to. I avoided it last year but decided not to be dumb this year.

Consolidating loans is KEY. Better to start those asap. Such a pain.

    I love the bloggin 4 times a week! That’s a good goal.

And I desperately want a dog… but just signed a lease with no pets so ugh, I have to wait until after that.

  2. All good goals for the year. Now MY list is getting longer! Yikes!

We have a dog, and they change your life. Not always in a good way. Lots of poo.

    Happy New Year!

I’m excited about the idea of getting of dog. I’m lucky enough to work only a mile from our apartment, so I could go home during lunch and take the dog for a run!

Talking about poo though . . . I stepped in some and am worried about my shoes smelling in the office; I can’t seem to get it all off
